Notary Services
We bring the notary to you at home, at work, or in a hospital or care facility in Brooklyn and nearby areas of New York City.
When getting to an office isn’t practical, Kay’s Notary Travel can bring the notary to you. Our mobile notary service visits homes, offices, hospitals, nursing homes and rehabilitation facilities in Brooklyn and nearby areas of New York City. It’s a convenient option for busy professionals, families coordinating several signers, and anyone who is unwell or has limited mobility. Please contact us to confirm availability for your location.
A mobile appointment follows the same rules as a visit to our office. Each signer must be present, have a current government-issued photo ID and be signing willingly. For hospital and care facility visits, the signer must be alert, able to communicate with the notary and able to understand what they are signing. If those conditions aren’t met on the day, the notary may have to decline the notarization. We also recommend checking the facility’s visitor rules before booking.
Notary fees are set by New York law. Travel fees depend on the location and timing of your appointment, and we explain them up front, before your visit is confirmed. As always, we notarize signatures but cannot provide legal advice or prepare your documents. If you have questions about the content of your document, please speak with an attorney.
Call or book online with the address, your preferred time, the number of signers and the type of document.
We confirm availability for your location and explain any travel fee up front.
The notary arrives at the scheduled time, checks each signer’s ID and makes sure the document has no blank spaces.
Each signer signs in front of the notary, who then completes and signs the notarial certificate.

In many cases, yes. The signer must be alert, able to communicate with the notary, understand what they are signing and have a valid photo ID. We recommend checking the facility’s visitor rules before your appointment.
Each signer needs a current, valid government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license, state ID card or passport. Please check that everyone’s ID is unexpired before we travel to you, and call us if this could be a problem.
